When you subscribe to updates, your name, email address, interests, source information and subscription status may be transferred to ActiveCampaign, our email marketing provider. We may use tags or preferences to send information relevant to the topic in which you expressed interest.

We may ask you to confirm your subscription by clicking a link in an opt-in confirmation email. Marketing emails will identify the sender and provide an unsubscribe option. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in an email or by contacting us. We will process unsubscribe requests as required by applicable law.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not prevent us from sending necessary communications about an existing enquiry, booking, agreement or service

Some of our technology providers operate or use systems outside Australia. As a result, personal information may be stored in or accessed from overseas.

ActiveCampaign states that information may be transferred to locations in the United States, Australia, Ireland, Brazil and Costa Rica, as well as countries in which its approved service providers operate. Google and other technology providers may process information through systems located in Australia, the United States and other countries.
Privacy protections in another country may differ from those in Australia. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with applicable Australian privacy requirements.

10. Storage and security

Personal information may be held in our website database, email accounts, ActiveCampaign account, business records, service-provider systems and backups.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. These measures include access controls, website security tools, software maintenance and backups.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If we become aware of an eligible data breach, we will take the steps required by applicable law.

11. How long we retain information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain appropriate business records, or to meet legal, accounting, insurance and dispute-resolution requirements.

The retention period can vary according to the type of information. For example:
